Sew Cool School at Cate’s Sew Modern provides kids a fun, creative environment to work on projects that will teach them how to follow detailed instructions as well as master basic sewing techniques. The curriculum is class-driven, and past projects have ranged from easy pillows to complex, lined, draw-string bags. Pajama bottoms, peasant blouses, and a stuffed iPad stand have been kid-favorites. Projects can even include non-traditional materials like screen, feed sacks, and paper. Bring a snack and enjoy some creative time after school!
Because the maximum capacity for Sew Cool School is only six children per afternoon, you must reserve space ahead of time.
When: Wednesdays, 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm
Fee: $40 for 1 drop-in session or $140 for 4 sessions + basic materials.
Ages: 8 to 13
A pack of 4 sessions must be used consecutively. If your child needs to skip a session we must receive a call by Wednesday morning. If a class is missed without notification, you will lose that class. This is to guarantee anyone on the waiting list a chance to get into the class. Thank you
