Binary code is more than just 0s and 1s; it is a system of opposites (up/down, left/right, etc) that is perfect for creating patchwork. In this workshop we will be using the binary code for the letters of the alphabet to make a small quilt (baby or lap) that has a message hidden in the patchwork. It’s a great way to share your love with someone or write a little reminder to yourself. Your other homework assignment with this quilt is to think of a four-letter word (not necessarily the one you’re thinking of right now, perhaps?) Love, Hope, Calm, or Wish are good ones, but there are plenty of others.
