Slow down and unwind with Barbara Reid and learn embroidery basics! Over this six week course, you’ll learn beginner embroidery stitches, simple sashiko patterns, visible mending, and some hand applique. By the end of it, you’ll be ready to tackle your next embroidery project with confidence!

Instructor Bio: Barbara Reid is an artist who has worked in paint, pottery and stained glass. For the last twelve years, she has put her creative energy into sewing and quilting. Barbara finds inspiration in all forms of fine art, multi-media, and music, but is especially drawn to Mexican folk art, which influences her art quilting. She lives in Guilford, CT. with her husband, who owns a design agency, and their two verbose cats.
