Intro to Quilting


Have you ever wanted to start making quilts of your own? Or maybe even start making quilts for friends or a new member of your family? Well, this is the perfect place to start!

When: Starting Saturday, June 16th and ending July 14th.  4 sessions on consecutive Saturdays (with the exception of July 7th) from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Prerequisites: Basic sewing skills.

In this class, you’ll learn all of the techniques you need to make your very own quilt from start to finish. Taught by established quilter, Maureen Anderson, this class is sure to just start your adventure into the world of quilting!

About the Teacher:
Maureen Anderson, accomplished quilter, educator and 2016’s president of Shoreline Quilters’ Guild, will walk aspirational quilters through an organized and thorough orientation to quilting.  In this 4-session class, you’ll be able to fully finish a 26 x 26″ quilted four-patch wall-hanging. You can also convert this pattern into a beautiful table runner if you’d like.
