Description
Can’t wait to take your quilting basics to the next level? Look no further than our Block Builders Club! You’ll learn more intermediate techniques like Half Square Triangles, Flying Geese, Foundation Paper Piecing, and Curves. In the final weeks you’ll take these new skills and learn how to create your own design using these elements. Become familiar with a design wall, and to calculate how much fabric your creation will require. Once designed, you’ll write out your steps, and begin sewing and building it!

Sewing machine rental available for $5/day
- Prerequisite: Sewing skills and familiarity with sewing machine required. Comfortable sewing straight lines and smaller seams. Recommended to have taken Intro to Quilting or School of Sewing prior.

Instructor Bio: Cate Boeth is owner, instructor, curator, and personality extraordinaire of Cate’s Sew Modern. After realizing her passion for modern quilts and modern fabrics, she opened Cate’s Sew Modern in 2008 and has never looked back. Now she’s our fan favorite instructor with skills in everything from quilting to garment construction.
